Memories
My children
I won't be far away, for life goes on.
Just listen with your heart, for my love is always near.
To Those I Love
When I am gone, just release me,
let me go - so I can move into my
afterglow. You mustn't tie me down
with your tears; let's be happy that
we had so many years. I gave you
my love, you can only guess
how much you gave me in happiness.
I thank you for the love you each have
shown, but now it's time I traveled on alone.
So grieve for me awhile, if grieve
you must, then let your grieve be comforted
with trust, It's only for awhile that
we must part, so bless the memories within
your heart. And then, when you must
come this way alone, I'll greet you with
a smile and a "Welcome Home."
I love you all. Love your Mother Mary Virgie Toone Watkins
Fill not your hearts with pain and sorrow,
but remember me in every tomorrow.
My going has eased my pain and given relief,
so dry your eyes and forget your grief.
Remember the joy, our laughter; my smile
and that our being apart is just for awhile.
Remember me also as I used to be.
Understand in your hearts, so precious to me,
that I've gone on ahead to dwell up above,
and ' til we're once more together....
You have all of my love.
Love your moma
I am in your heart forever
May 11, 1925 - August 10, 2004
God looked around His garden
and He found an empty place
He then looked down upon this
earth, and saw momma's tired face.
He put his arms around her
and lifted her to rest.
God's garden must be beautiful,
He always takes the best.
He knew that momma was suffering,
He knew she was in pain.
He knew that she would never
get well on earth again.
He saw the road was getting rough
and the hills were hard to climb
So He closed momma's weary eyelids,
and whispered, Peace be thine.
It broke our hearts to lose her but
she didn't go alone,
For part of us went with her
the day God called our momma home.
WE REMEMBER MOMMA
This is three as one Edith sisters Carrie, Edith & Mary. Edith is married to Mike
There comes a time for each for us
When nothing can be done
To ease the pain and sorrow
Of losing a beloved one
It's at these times we need
More than we ever could say
The quiet touch of understanding
The loving look or gaze
So rather than try to take away
The grieving feelings inside
Just know that I am thinking of you
And time will be your guide.
Gone is a mother loved by all,
Her soul is now at rest.
She'll sleep in peace, her work is done.
A mother's work-the best.
She'll know the joy of perfect rest
In heaven up above,
Where she may dwell contentedly
Protected by God's love.
Our hearts may grieve that she must lie
Beneath the sacred sod,
And yet we know she lives in peace
Within the house of God.
Don’t grieve for me, for now I’m free
I’m following the path God has laid you see.
I took His hand when I heard him call
I turned my back and left it all.
I could not stay another day
To laugh, to love, to work, to play.
Tasks left undone must stay that way
I found that peace at the close of day.
If my parting has left a void
Then fill it with remembered joy.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss
Oh yes, these things I too will miss.
Be not burdened with times of sorrow
I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow.
My life’s been full, I savored much
Good friends, good times, a loved one’s touch.
Perhaps my time seemed all too brief
Don’t lengthen it now with undue grief.
Lift up your hearts and peace to thee
God wanted me now; He set me free.

I cannot say, and I will not say
That she is dead. She is just away!
And a wave of the hand,
She has wandered into an unknow land
And left us dreaming how very fair
It needs to be, since she lingers there.
Think of her faring on, as dear
In the love of There as the love of Here;
Think of her still as the same, I say;
She is not dead-she is just-Away!
Remember me
Remember me in quite days
While raindrops whisper on your pane.
But in your memories have no grief,
Let just the joy we knew remain.
Remember me when evening stars
Look down on you with steadfast eyes.
Remember if once you wake
To catch a glimpse of red the sunrise.
And when your thoughts do turn to me,
Know that I would not have you cry.
But live for me and laugh for me,
When you are happy, so am I.
Remember an old joke we shared,
Remember me when spring walks by.
Think once of me when you are glad,
And while you live, I shall not die.
Thinking of you Momma and Daddy and wishing you both were here. Love ya and have a good time in heaven this year.
